Algorithmic trading is based on criteria defined in advance. Market data, conditions and risk limits form the basis of a rule-based approach. Such a system follows its instructions without reacting spontaneously to fear, euphoria or other emotions at the moment of a decision.

A rule-based approach specifies which information matters and under which conditions a response is intended. This prepares the decision before a particular market situation arises. The same criteria can be applied to many observations and reviewed afterwards.
This structure supports an objective comparison of assumptions and results. Changes can be explained, documented and tested again. Data quality, risk limits and technical oversight remain essential; applying a rule consistently does not by itself establish its economic viability.

We use artificial intelligence in our internal workflows. It helps us combine information from multiple sources, organise material and prepare analyses. We use it to process substantial amounts of information more quickly and focus our work on the questions that matter.
Developing new strategy ideas is another area of use. AI helps compare approaches, refine questions and prepare initial drafts. Source checks and professional assessment accompany this process; strategy ideas are then investigated separately.
